I had a couple of local agents come to my property for a valuation and knew as soon as I met Anthony I would be using Ainsworth Lord. He had a straight talking approach, no fluffy rubbish to get me to sell my property with him. He asked me what I wanted and told me he would deliver. He certainly has! My property sold within 2 weeks and there were many viewings on my property, none of which I needed to attend. All of the staff I have dealt with have been friendly and helpful. They put up with my flapping and calm my nerves! Highly recommend, thank you Anthony and team.

I have used Aimsworth lord for the management of letting my property. From the beginning they have been open, honest and always delivered on what they have promised. I have now recently gone from letting to trying to sell. They have found me a buyer quickly, sourced me a responsibly priced solicitor and they appear to be moving forward with the sale, not sitting on things like many other firms seem to do. I let my property through them and as a landlord with a small portfolio I feel they understand how important my property is to me. I never feel that because I only have a small portfolio I am less important, quite the opposite actually! They are always give me an honest unbiased opinion and always act promptly to look after my property. During lockdown they still managed to look after my property properly a gigantic feat in itself! At that point I had another property through another agent which got switched to Ainsworths - need I say more, who then looked after it even though it was nowhere near their area! I now only buy in their area only so that they can look after my property.

I have a small portfolio managed by AL, as such the income is very important to me. I never feel that because I only have a small portfolio that I am less important, quite the opposite actually! I had another property in a different area as well during lockdown that I received such a shocking service with the agent it was with that I initially moved to AL to manage even it wasn't in their area. I have since sold it in order to buy within AL area, Any future property will definitely be through them! As a small, independent, family business they are Estate Agent diamonds!

I phoned Ainsworth Lord Estates earlier in the year. My rental property (mis-manged by another local agent) had been trashed and I wanted to sell it. Within an hour of the call, Anthony had picked up the keys, visited the property and sent me photos. He arranged for the necessary (and significant) work to bring the property up to standard using his contractors at a reasonable price. The property was quickly on the market and we received an asking price offer the same day. I live in London and Anthony has kept an eye of the property up to the point of sale and helped with any issues arising. I can't recommend enough.

DO NOT USE! Absolutely awful service! I arranged an appraisal yesterday with Verity due to take place at 11am this morning. I sat outside the property for 10 minutes and nobody turned up. When I called their offices, they said they had been delayed and would be around 15 - 20 minutes. Had I not called, I would have been none the wiser. I did not receive any kind of notification about the delay. They did not show any remorse or regret. All I can say is they are highly unprofessional and I would steer well clear of them. I can only imagine how they treat buyers and tenants if this is how they treat sellers and landlords!

INVESTORS and everyone, BE VERY CAREFUL WITH PAUL AINSWORTH and AINSWORTH LORD ESTATE AGENT 18th Aug 2022 - Update I drove 300+ miles to see my property and see what Paul is doing with my property. I went to his office on 18th Aug 2022. He is still on holidays. So ended up talking to Verity Holmes(his employee) in the office. She said in Paul's absence, nothing can be done, But Paul told me in the message that some Government people are coming for property inspections during his holidays, and Verity said there is nothing lined up. In his absense nothing can be done. Paul Ainsworth is trying to bluff me. This is RIDICULOUS, INSULTING and DISGUSTING. Paul trying to cheat me. I asked Verity Holmes - why Paul is doing all this and why he is not responding to me and why he is not giving me any updates about my property. Do I need to travel 300 miles to get an update from him everytime? I have asked Verity - does he treat like this only me or with all the other landlords. She said he does not update or respond to many other landlords like this. THIS IS A JOKE and was shocked, and I don't understand why he does this and his behaviour is NOT ACCEPTABLE. He took our property, and it is his responsibility to rent it and give regular updates at least once a month. He took my property, DIDN'T RENT IT and on top of that, HE IS NOT UPDATING ME on what is happening with my property - ignoring me, my messages, and my emails. —---------------------------—------------------------- 13 Aug 2022 11:10AM - Update Finally, I got a message from Paul after my Google Review. Now he says I have to pay to settle my account and his fees and then take my property back. He will not be handling my property. After 1.5 years of wait - he is telling me this now. I know he will charge me a lot of fees now to settle his account and will find an excuse not to give my property back. This is CHEATING. —------------------------- I am badly stuck with this agent and with Paul. I bought this property with tenants in 2019, trusting Ainsworth lord estates. Due to some issues, they said they have to vacate the tenants, they have vacated the tenants. Now the property has been empty since August 2020. I have been chasing them, but no updates. He keeps telling me that they must renovate, look for tenants, etc. I have agreed with everything that they told me, trusting them. I live far away from Blackburn and have trusted Paul and the team. He said he talking to Govt team about leasing. It is been 1.5 years still my property is empty. Paul doesn't pick up my calls, doesn't respond to my emails, and doesn't respond to my messages. I have to keep calling, and after months - he will say - I am working on it - there is no update, and thus I am not responding to you. Is this FAIR? If there is no update, will you not talk to your landlords at least once a month to give an update? I can provide all proof of all my emails\/messages unanswered. Verity and everyone know my issue, and they don't know why Paul is treating me like this. He is reluctant to talk to me or give an update. I don't understand that. This has been happening for more than a year now. I have put all my savings into this property, and now I don't have any income for 1.5 years, and Paul doesn't care about this. He is not acting on my property and keeping me waiting forever. He is not giving me any updates, and now he has left for the holidays without giving me any updates. DISGUSTING………How can he enjoy his holidays by giving pain to others. I have all the proof to show if anyone wants, how Paul is treating me.
